This shoot was a collaboration involving several wedding businesses, organised by and for
Kate Collins a talented dress designer I got to know a few years ago when I photographed a wedding of a mutual client who got married in
Italy. Kate wanted a selection of images to promote a selection of wedding dresses. I even talked her into modelling her own bridal gown for a few shots - can you guess which model is actually as dress designer? The fabulous hair and make up was by
Louise Lunn. We were lucky enough to be given permission to do the shoot at the stunning newly refurbished
Eshott Hall. Definitely one of my new favourite wedding venues in the North East.
I photographed several gowns using a variety of locations around Eshott Hall utilising natural light and flash. This was my first chance to use Elinchrom's Ranger RX Quadra light kit on a location shoot. It worked flawlessly and I was very impressed with the quality of light, the power, flexibility and versatility. I look forward to using the kit on my next wedding.
